Today we had run, jump, throw with Andy. First we started by warming ourselves up so that we were energized to do the skills, we started off with a game of octopus to get us started. The thing we were focusing on today was high jump, we had to form a line against the wall. We had to line up boy girl then Mrs A would split us up into 2 teams. Both of our teams had to do the scissor kick to get over the bar but before we did that we practiced by standing a line, then we had to do left left, right right. It meant that you would do the scissor kick but doing it like jumping the line but also putting the foot that is closest to the line and do the jump and then let the other leg follow it. We did it over and over again until we got use to it. One team side was jumping right right, and the other side was jumping left left. The side I got use to was right right, because it was much easier to jump over the bar, no like the other one, it was to hard I couldn't lift my leg over the bar. Some people made it over the bar when it got higher but unfortunately I didn't because I could only reach the lower bar.
This blog is a record of my learning from Panmure Bridge Primary School through to Tamaki College.

Kiwi Sport Run, Jump and Throw - By Tiare
Today Room 5 had Kiwi Sport, Run, Jump, Throw, High Jump and Run Jump. When we arrived at the hall we started off with a game called stuck in the mud and then we started doing High Jump and Run Jump it was so fun learning how to do things that I have never tried before. Everyone participated in the activities very well and that's what made everything so much fun while we were in there. Then when we finished High jump and Run Jump we did something called Scissor Kick what you had to do was lift your legs but as you do it one arm comes up then the other arm follows and your legs are slightly bent.
