Orienteering y8 - By Tiare

Here is my Orienteering. As you can see Evelyn and I was partner's. She was a very good help and I was a really good help because whenever one of us are tired the other person does it. It was sort of hard because of the mud, it was so slippery. Next time I can catch up so that I can make it in to the inter school, so that I can verse other players, or other schools.

Current Events ( Britain votes to leave the EU) - By Jane and Tiare

Here is a Current Events about Britain Leaving the European Union. Next time they can really think and chose wisely about whether or not they are going to leave. I would vote to stay because it is easier, you don't even need a passport but now they will no longer be getting help from countries in the European Union. What is your opinion.

Speech Child Abuse - By Tiare

Good Morning Students

Today I will be talking about Child Abuse why are parents like this.

If you have know idea of what it is, it is when a parent or adult causes serious physical or emotional harm to a child. Is this good for children do you think that this should happen to children. It is not fair for parents to have to always hurt their children. If I were to watch television and seen a video clip that showed abusive things happening to a child I would literally start crying. Parents shouldn't treat their children like they are wild, parents should treat their children like any other parent would. Why do they do this I just don't get it. Would you like it if you came home every night and had to be treated in any sort of hurtful way I'm pretty sure you wouldn't. Children die everyday of abuse or neglect.It is so sad to hear that they are getting treated badly. It is not fair to any child for them to live short it is not right. They should at least live until they are in their 30's or 40's. Back in the day you were allowed to smack kids, in these days you are not allowed to. I think that it is a good law because it is not a good environment for children whose parents are treating them like animals.

If you are someone who has seen things on social media like YouTube and you've seen children abusively hurt how do you feel watching them get hurt or even crying. I feel upset because they are getting treated in a very very very harmful way. Why does this have to happen to them it might be because their parents grew up in a very disappointing or upset home life. Do you think that parents abusively hurt their child because they had a bad home life, I don't no. All children should be treated with love and affection because it is better than getting treated like their not in this world. What is your opinion about child abuse do you think it's okay, do you think that children should be treated like their are important, I do, do you. Sometimes I can think of one way children are important. In my head I can think of children with their family's watching their favorite movie and having fun, but I can not picture children with their family's and getting abusively hurt it is just wrong.

Here is my speech about Child Abuse. It tells you information about child abuse and how sad it is to hear that children are getting abusively hurt. I wonder why parents would do such a thing. It also tells you about how they are important.

Orienteering Year 8 -

Today the year 8 did Orienteering. We either had the choice with a partner or by our selves. I had a partner, it was Cecillia. There was so much running involved I was puffed. Cecillia was so helpful because I gave her my card so that if she gets their before I do then she can stamp both of our cards. I also really liked how Cecillia was encouraging me to keep going and I did. At first I thought it was so boring and now I have got the hang of it. I should of did it in my feet instead of my shoes because my shoes got dirty as and was soaked, next time I know that I should do it in my feet. We had 4 course to do. Some people started on different courses. Cecillia and I started on course 2 and ended on course 1. It was really fun and the next time I do orienteering I will do it better.

Current Events - By Evelyn and Tiare

Here is a Current Events DLO that Evelyn and I created. We were talking about World Refugee Day. Children who are refugee's makes us feel very sad because they are either surrounded by war or somewhere where they cannot have peace. We think that kids struggle because they are not in an good environment.

Pollution/Smog in China - By Tiare

Here is my Pollution in China DLO. It tells you that smog is a very deadly disease that is caused by smoke and fog. People have to wear masks that doctors wear in the hospital so they don't breathe in the germs from the smog.
